About Us
I have always been madly in love with animals and as soon as I
got married I started on my collection! 19 years later and I
have had quite a few.....
At the moment I have 3 cocker spaniels Millie, Bella and
Florence, 4 cats Spice, Hero, Horatio, Dotty, 1 house rabbit
called Chester, 5 chickens (not named at the moment) these
ladies were battery hens that we rescued in June, 1 fish called
Bob!
I have 2 teenage daughters Rhiannon and Lucy they have
both inherited the animal loving gene. My eldest daughter has
just started training to be a veterinary nurse at Churchcroft
Veterinary Practice in Chilwell so for me this is fantastic news!!!
My husband of 19 years was not an animal person when we
first met but he has had to adapt and with some considerable
training now actually loves animals and Bella is his particular
favourite!
If I get a spare minute I love reading, and listening to music,
I am also a member of the Wollaton Park Inner Wheel Club.
In February Millie had her first litter of puppies, it was the
most wonderful experience and I have now decided to breed
my ladies and I am now a registered breeder with the Kennel
Club and have my own Kennel name Trigania (not very
imaginative I know!). I do not believe in puppy farms and my
puppies were cuddled and loved and given the very, very best
start to their lives. I am still in touch with all the puppies new
owners and love to get updates on how they are getting on.
The reason I have set up my own business “Creature Care” is
because that I’ve had so many times in the past where I have
had the heartbreaking moment when you leave your animal at
the kennels, my babies have been devastated and to be
honest for most of my holiday I kept worrying and wondering
if they were ok.
Pets thrive on love and attention and also routine, when we
take them to kennels they don’t understand that you are just
away for your 2 week jolly’s and will soon be back, as far as
they are concerned you have gone and left them forever. The
joy when you return is soon forgotten when they suddenly
remember what you have put them through and you then get
the silent, you deserted me treatment!!!
I once took my cats and dogs to a kennels where there was
not much distance between the two areas by the time I got
back my cats were a nervous wreck as the noise from the dogs
stressed them out so much and my dogs were exhausted as
the other dogs were constantly barking and they never relaxed.
Hopefully I will be able to provide a caring, loving service to
allow your pets to carry on living in the comfort of their own
surroundings whilst you can sit back and relax and enjoy your
holiday knowing your favourite pet is being given the best
possible care and attention.
